No matter how excited we were to start hiking in our home state, the trail once again had a different plan for us and instead of walking across Bridge of Gods, we headed to urgent care in Gresham, OR on Saturday morning.

It turned out that my stomach was not on its way to recovery as I hoped. After a brief relief throughout Friday afternoon the bug returned stronger than before and I realized that it’s probably not going to go away on its own.
So now we are spending some time in Gresham, keeping our fingers crossed that the antibiotic I got work and we can safely return to the trail soon.
Keep fingers crossed for us as well.
